Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson appear to chastise a man during the 'Asteroid City' Cannes premiere.
Tom Hanks appeared to reprimand a staffer as he walked the red carpet with his wife, Rita Wilson, at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday evening.
The mystery individual could be seen gesticulating at the "A Man Called Otto" actor, 66, who was dressed in a black tux, as he posed with his "Asteroid City" co-stars during the film's premiere.
When Hanks was joined on the carpet by his wife, he could be seen pointing his finger at the young man and making a harsh face during their chat.
Wilson, who looked magnificent in a black gown and a long black coat decorated with silver stones, also put her hand up throughout the heated exchange, but it's unclear what they were discussing.
Despite the incident, the "That Thing You Do!" co-stars continued down the red carpet, posing for more photos.
Page Six reached out to Hanks' representative for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
The couple's outing comes roughly a month after Harry and Wilson, both 66, celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary.
The "Now and Then" actress tweeted a romantic photo of her hubby gazing at her while holding a cake with the words "Happy Anniversary" inscribed on it.
