The Continental, OTT's John Wick prequel, premieres in September.

Prime Video will launch "The Continental: From The World of John Wick" on September 22nd, a three-part series exploring the origin of the iconic hotel-for-assassins in the John Wick universe. 

The show follows a young Winston Scott in 1970s New York City, facing a past he thought he left behind, as he navigates the mysterious underworld of the hotel to eventually seize his throne. 

"The Continental" is the latest addition to Prime membership, offering savings, convenience, and entertainment for Prime members in India for just ₹1499/year. 

Colin Woodell plays young Winston, taking over from Ian McShane, and Ayomide Adegun assumes the role of Charon, previously played by the late Lance Reddick. 

The series also stars Mel Gibson, Mishel Prada, Jeremy Bobb, Ben Robson, Nhung Kate, Jessica Allain, and Hubert Point-Du Jour. 

vExecutive producer Basil Iwankyk expresses excitement about exploring the characters' backstories, the rise of The Continental, and introducing new compelling characters in the John Wick universe. 

The show promises crazy cool and inventive action, Easter eggs for hardcore Wick fans, and a vision of '70s New York that embodies the franchise's signature style. 

Basil Iwankyk has produced every John Wick film since the first one, along with other noted action franchises like The Expendables and Sicario.
