Hundreds of thousands of Taylor Swift fans converged on Seattle on Saturday ahead of the pop star's "The Eras Tour," the latest leg on her cross-country tour to increase tourism.
Throngs of fans waited outside Lumen Field, where the mega-star will perform on Saturday and Sunday, to buy T-shirts and other goods.
Ragnhild Read, fresh from a flight from Salt Lake City, Utah, waited to buy Swift souvenirs.
"I would travel across the world to see Taylor," she told Reuters.
Swift previously performed in Salt Lake City in 2013, when she traveled there from her home in Seattle. She's taking the route backwards this time.
Swift's concerts have increased hotel and restaurant revenue in places worldwide.
Visit Seattle, the city's tourism organization, is hoping for the same this weekend.
"We're hoping for a very successful weekend in terms of hotel occupancy.
