Staring fans caused Margot Robbie to become "self-conscious." 

When admirers only stared at Margot Robbie but spoke to Ryan Gosling, she felt "self-conscious."

The 'Barbie' actors filmed a scene involving rollerblading in Venice Beach,  

and the film's director Greta Gerwig found it "fascinating" to observe how the general public reacted ,

to them so differently when they got close because it mirrored the Australian actress' fictional character of the same name.

According to Greta, Barbie behaves in Barbieland in a way that is wholly consistent with her surroundings." 

Even the houses have no walls because there is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of, so you never need to hide.

"The essence of being human is finding yourself suddenly in the real world and wishing you could hide.
