Ruling Made in the Case Against Odell Beckham Jr.
According to TMZ Sports, a woman who claimed that Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
wrapped his hand around her neck at a nightclub in Los Angeles won't be prosecuted.
Prosecutors stated on Tuesday (May 23) that surveillance video from the club "contradicts,
the complaining witness' account of events," adding that "the video does not capture any battery."
According to law enforcement officials who spoke to TMZ Sports, the alleged incident happened at Delilah,
where Beckham is said to have approached the woman and lightly gripped her throat. At the time of the initial story in April,
A spokesman for Beckham told TMZ Sports that they hadn't been contacted by law enforcement and that the former Pro Bowler hadn't done anything wrong.
According to sources quoted by TMZ Sports, neither Beckham nor the woman left the nightclub during the course of the evening.
