Gruden has been collaborating with the Saints and their new quarterback Derek Carr, according to Nola.com.
As a longtime offensive guru, Gruden is familiar with Carr from his stint with the Raiders. He has been assisting in directing the team's offense's opening phases all week.
The Denver Broncos have moved on from the offseason strength and conditioning program to on-field football practices.
The Saints are hoping that Carr would increase the floor of an offense that had trouble moving the ball last season.
