Jon Gruden reportedly returns to NFL with NFC South squad

It's Jon Gruden again. It was reasonable to question if Gruden would ever return to the NFL following a significant scandal during his tenure with

the Raiders that resulted in his firing. That query has been resolved since he has allegedly accepted a role with the New Orleans Saints in a restricted manner.

Gruden has been collaborating with the Saints and their new quarterback Derek Carr, according to 

As a longtime offensive guru, Gruden is familiar with Carr from his stint with the Raiders. He has been assisting in directing the team's offense's opening phases all week. 

The Denver Broncos have moved on from the offseason strength and conditioning program to on-field football practices.

The Saints are hoping that Carr would increase the floor of an offense that had trouble moving the ball last season. 

In New Orleans, which is led by veteran Michael Thomas and second-year receiver Chris Olave among others, there is no lack of weapons.
