An appeals court in New York dismissed Ivanka Trump's civil lawsuit against the state's attorney general on Tuesday,
which might have helped the case against Donald J. Trump and his business,
which is set to go to trial in October.Letitia James, the attorney general,
filed a lawsuit last year alleging that Mr. Trump, the Trump Organization, and three of his adult children,
including Ms. Trump, had falsely overvalued the former president's assets by billions of dollars in order to be eligible for advantageous loans.
In a unanimous decision on Tuesday, the Appellate Division of the State Supreme Court ,
in Manhattan ruled that Ms. James's allegations against Ms. Trump should be rejected because the attorney general failed,
