Aaron Rodgers of the Jets sells the most NFL jerseys.

In New York, Aaron Rodgers was a hit quickly. NFL Shop reported that the New York Jets' new quarterback has the NFL's best-selling jersey in April.

Rodgers defeated some strong opponents. Jalen Hurts, fresh off an MVP season with the Eagles that included a historic Super Bowl performance, finished second behind Rodgers.

The bronze medal went to Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. Odell Beckham Jr., a Ravens wideout and former Giants Pro Bowler, placed fourth. Josh Allen's No. 17 jersey was the fifth most-sold NFL jersey in April.

Travis Kelce, the second Chiefs player in the top 10, was sixth in jersey sales. Green Bay's replacement for Rodgers, Jordan Love, sold the seventh-most jerseys.

Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson, Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, and No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young got the 8-10 slots, respectively.

Given the enthusiasm his presence has generated in New York, Rodgers' high jersey sales aren't surprising. Jets fans hope Rodgers can help the team return to the playoffs for the first time since 2010,

when Rex Ryan's team reached their second consecutive AFC championship game. Since Joe Namath led New York to a surprise upset triumph over the Colts in Super Bowl III, some Jets supporters may be allowing themselves to dream of a Super Bowl run.

Rodgers, a four-time MVP, led the Packers to 147-75-1 in the regular season. He went 11-10 in the playoffs and defeated the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV. Rodgers won MVP after throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns in Green Bay's 31-25 triumph.
